EU-Richtlinien gegen Greenwashing: Hunderte ESG-Fonds haben Namen schon geändert
Aufgrund einer neuen EU-Vorschrift dürfen zahlreiche Fonds und ETFs bestimmte Nachhaltigkeitsbegriffe nicht mehr in ihrem Namen verwenden. Die Frist zur Umbenennung rückt näher. Laut einer aktuellen Untersuchung haben Hunderte Produkte ihren Namen bereits geändert – betroffen ist demnach ein Gesamtvermögen von rund 150 Milliarden Euro.
So meistern Unternehmen die ESG-Kriterien
Nun zeichnet sich auf EU-Ebene eine Kehrtwende ab: Das Omnibus-Paket sieht bei der CSRD, der europaweiten Lieferkettenrichtlinie CSDDD und dem CO2-Grenzausgleichssystem CBAM deutliche Erleichterungen vor. Im April haben das EU-Parlament und der EU-Rat dem Vorschlag „Stop-the-Clock“ zur zeitlichen Verschiebung der Erstanwendung der CSRD-Nachhaltigkeitsberichterstattung zugestimmt. Diese Richtlinie muss bis 31.12.2025 in nationales Recht umgesetzt werden.

The European Parliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON Committee) may propose significant reductions in the number of companies required to comply with the EU’s sustainability reporting and due diligence regulations, going well beyond the cuts proposed by the EU Commission’s Omnibus plan, according to a draft amendments report seen by ESG Today.
