Trotz schwachem Neugeschäft verwalten Fonds mit Nachhaltigkeitsmerkmalen fast eine Billion Euro. Deutsche Anleger hatten zum 31. März 2024 fast eine Billion Euro in Fonds gemäß Artikel 8 und 9 der EU- Offenlegungsverordnung investiert. Publikumsfonds verwalten mit 727 Milliarden Euro rund drei Viertel des Gesamtvolumens. Das Segment der Spezialfonds mit Nachhaltigkeitsmerkmalen ist mit 250 Milliarden Euro deutlich kleiner. Es wächst allerdings sehr viel schnel- ler. Allein in den letzten zwölf Monaten betrug das Plus rund 45 Prozent. Bei Publikumsfonds waren es 12 Prozent.

Nachhaltiges investieren und ESG bleiben wichtig, zumindest in Europa und der APAC-Region. So das Ergebnis einer Umfrage von Robeco unter 300 Investoren. In Nordamerika hingegen, schließt der Rekordwert von 46 Prozent Zusagen zur Klimaneutralität aus – und das ist nicht das einzige alarmierende Ergebnis.
